Vampire can't bite tonight, yesterday's bite was successful it just killed instead of recruiting
He says he hit me yesterday and I'm alive so that's a big no.
It also says a kill from a bite or a failed bite don't take up the action. He can definitely bite tonight.

Yesterday's bite didn't create a vampire but it killed a rival so I'd consider that a successful bite, though depends on MITO's definition of success
