To think all them years in the 90's and early 2000's nani was actually driving united to wins, even though he wasnt even a footballer at the time, outstanding
I put him in my fantasy team right after the Barca game in preseason. I think the main reason his form dropped was fatigue. He was argueably our most important player in our team for 2/3 of the season and played a lot. When Valencia came back it gave Nani some time to rest, but Valencia was playing really well and Nani got stuck out left. I also think that Carragher tackle had an impact on Nani. It could have shot his confidence, or he knew he looked like a bitch and was embarresed about how he reacted.
It was embarrasing to watch him cry like a southerner, really poor. Great player though, he never will be ronaldo, but he has more natural talent than most players around, happy to have him playing well
Nani in his last 2 games has shown he can get stuck in plenty of times. How many times has he made a tackle deep in our own half in the last 2. More times than normal anyway. Maybe hes been working on it.
