Parkinson, like Molby, made some excellent signings in his brief stint here despite being crap for us. Ricketts was a brilliant, and very underrated player for us. Especially in 2007/08 when other players picked up all the plaudits.

He was a terrific crosser of a ball too. I hope he adds that to his coaching curriculum. Too many times do we see players with the unerring ability to do everything right except for a decent ball into the box. Good luck Sam - even though I'm sure you said some disparaging things about Hull once you'd left.
