Slightly pedantic but most offers are just that... Only in markets and tourist hotspots do you mess about haggling. Final offers tend to be always take it or leave it. Although, I think I get the point you are making about how this mess is playing out, and with the need for bidders to detach from the circus and just say that's it... in or out!
So one offer left take it or leave it Surely theyl have their money back and more So we can safely presume if this ones rejected or falls through they have no intention of selling and nobodys daft enoug to pay their inflated asking price Interesting times
I get that. I was being a little tongue in cheek. Though, ultimately every bidder has to say that's our offer... final offer. Negotiations done. We've seen clubs put opening offers in for players, but everyone knows when a final offer stage is reached, usually. Anyway, I'm not privy to who or how much so no idea if this one any chance. It really is now or never for January and to get crowds back before it gets irreversibly worse.
So does an offer have to be accepted before they do the fit and proper owners process or can this be done before any offers accepted?
The allams have always wanted to create an auction to create a higher aksing price they arnt daft, in jst doing that i get a feeling they definatly want to sell but for as high a price as possible (greedy bastards) im more confident of a sale now its down to one consortium as itl put more pressure on the allams and create a chance of them missing out altogether on selling the club while the stocks high so to speak. The only concern i have is their arrogance as they seem to think they can **** everybody and anyone around and i wouldnt be suprised if they twat the last remaining bidders about, if they do they are playing with fire as they could end up back in the championship with almost no fans and would get alot less for the club if anything at all, as surely interested partys will start running out Verdic a huge dose of common sense now needed ehab

Damn You had me feeling positive up to this past bit!!![/QUOTE] Hahaha they definatly want rid but you just have that horrible gut feeling theyl **** it up again Cant we all chip in for a hitman hahaha
I'm not sure Ehab "definitely" wants rid. Assem perhaps. But Junior... well who knows what goes on in that stunted brain of his.
I wonder if it's the case that Assem knows his lad's useless and that by hanging on to City and letting him run it he's keeping him well away from Marine, which must be the jewel in the crown.
