Instead, Cellino has confirmed that he wants to sell Leeds United but only to the right person. Italian outlet tuttomercatoweb claim that proposal has now fallen through. Cellino does not believe Radrizzani and his consortium of Italian businessmen would be big enough to take control of Leeds' affairs. Thoughts? Good morning all. I shuddered when I read that Cellino will only sell to "the right person". The last time this was said Bates "sold" the club to GFH a bank with no money.
Yeh I chuckled at that. The idea he'd give a hoot who he sold to. The best buyer will be the one who offers the most or who sweetens the deal in the manner Cellino wants. That's not slagging Cellino (in this instance) that's business.
The club will be sold when announced on the official website, not when some spotty teenager on twitter says so.
