The Young Pope is one of the best things that's been on tv in a long time

It is pretty much based on the first Christophe Nicole book, I think it was called "Sun and The Dragon", it was a trilogy starting as Japan was opening up to the West and finishing around WW2, I think. I have the set somewhere, but still have books in boxes from 1992 when we first moved to Shropshire from Liverpool, they remained unpacked and were just moved to our current house in 2002. I have boxes of books in the garage as well as several hundred in the house.

Great film, haven't seen that in years. Watched it with my ex who asked me "Which one's Will?" after the Commander shouts "Fire at will!" <doh>

Really... i was pretty young but i hated the last samurai. A stupid film where he probably could have died about 50 times and then sleeps with the wife of the person he kills (if i remember right) and i generally love tom cruise

Watched the Accountant. Not too bad, not a great but just a general good action movie.

It's amazing. Serious. As far as I'm concerned anyway. Has a solid 8.0 on imdb and that, i'd put it high 8, maybe even 9 territory

Saw slow west on the recommendation from some of you.

It is indeed SLOW. Luckily i was on the train and had nothing else to do. Weird sort of film, i enjoyed it but not brilliant. Think it's too artistic for me. 6/10

Thought TWD was brilliant tonight, is it wrong that I want want Negan to stay?

There will be a reckoning but hopefully Negan will be in it for a while he's superb and is in complete control.

I thought it was great but equally frustrating. Really wanted Rick to swing Lucille (sp).

Despite that, I agree about Negan. Fantastic character. Just a shame it's making Rick look like Eugene!

Rick is lost as to what to do, there will come a time when it will change but that seems way off at the moment.

The zombies are at this point a complete sideshow, they are dealt with easily by most. I think that will also change at some point.

It's going to take Hilltop, The Kingdom and Alexandria to come together if they are too fight Negan.

I think killing Negan and Negan alone would see a free-for-all for control. No one that's with Negan wants to be.

Ironically, Rick missed his best chance (to date) last night. Too busy in self pity and allowed Negan time to take all the weapons making any fight back a thousand times harder.
