That was Roweydcfc, great shout indeed. Didn't see the race but watched the exchanges and the winner and stablemate was punted on big time just before the off.
A very sombre day but managed a couple of winners. A rare winner for me in the bumper at HQ 10/1. A quick observation on the moonracer race. He won't be winning at the festival, typical pipe horse does all their winning in the minors gerraty gave the Nichols horse a shocker of a ride. He will be there or there a outs at the festival
Do you reckon he has a mate in Fergals yard who text him "our best bumper horse runs in the last at Cheltenham on Sunday" and he looked at the card, saw Imperial Eloquence but didnt spot the other one. I only say this coz there was plenty of money for the other one! The yards form in the Cheltenham bumpers this weekend by the way reads 413, not too shabby!
imperial won at Hexham in heavy ground so the hill wouldn't be a problem , you know how it is stick , the one with potential may not mature as fast , but heck of a training performance by fergal and his team - they sound like a proper happy yard and the horses reflect that - I did a r/f on the two - for a moment it looked on but happy with the place at all prices 40 33 25 - be some sore heads down naunton tomorrow I reckon -
↑ Good shout whoever stuck up the third horse home in the Chelters Bumper That was Roweydcfc, great shout indeed. Didn't see the race but watched the exchanges and the winner and stablemate was punted on big time just before the off. Just mentioned that too Stick, was watching the exchanges and the price collapsed just before the off and kept falling during the race.
Interested to see how you guys judge these bumpers so here is the question; Which one horse would go in your notebook/tracker from that race?
So lads going to centre parcs tomorrow (elvevden) gonna stop off in Newmarket first to have lunch as it's close anyone recommend any good restaurants/pubs to eat that wul be child friendly too
I'd have to watch it again as my view was very subjective watching imperial eloquence , but did think that paddy Brennan rode a good race and no coincidence that o'briens horses do well at Cheltenham with his gallops being on the collar , interesting that he was head lad when twister was doing well ......and got to say that his methods seem to be very consistent - got one in the bumper at plumpton tomorrow ....
I missed the bumper too as I was out for a walk (no innuendo). I basted my meat yesterday Dex, a lovely piece of Pork shoulder ............................... I do prefer a good **** though
as was pointed out earlier connor shoemark had ridden it twice so knows the horse so to speak , but they were definitely going for the one two either way !
