Goalkeeping situation

    assuning we sign the german trialist,and the goalkeeping situation remains as it is.....who would you start against man city?

    well i would start tremmel over moreira but if we sign this michel vorm then obviously i would start him and have tremmel on the the bench.

    I hope a deal can be made for him, will have 4 keepers on the books then, a sharp contrast to Martinez having just one and tatey in goal lol

    the good thing is four keepers will allow cornell to go on loan for invaluable league experience

    Vorm to start, Moreira on the bench and Tremmel to start cup games. Send Cornell out to League One/Two where he can play games and learn.

    A lot of people are questioning why we bought Moreira, as Tremmel looks a bit more stable and Vorm is a class above both. Just remember that Moreira is basically de Vries and was signed for precisely that reason - he'd fit in quickly and be someone the defence knew EXACTLY how to play with. Tremmel and Vorm offer different skill sets but might take a bit more time to settle - all three for less than £3m? Good job Huw, Martin, Buck and all involved!

    Don't agree with you there chris about moriera being just like devries. From what I've seen devries is by far better than moriera. And he will be our 3rd choice if we get vorm

    I think it's harsh to judge Moreira so early on. De Vries had to overcome a reputation as a flapper until we took him to heart, and I imagine it'll be the same (although maybe with more high profile errors given our loftier league standing these days) with him.

    Yea fair enough Scott. I'm willing to give him a chance but from why ive seen so far tremmel is the better keeper. And I will e surprised once we have another keeper if moriera gets a look in

    we have not seen enough or if any of our goalkeepers yet to even think about choosing who is the best....i will leave that up to Brendan and his goalkeeping coach to decide and that will be good enough for me,

    Well obviously dai. I wasn't thinking I would be asked to choose our GK for our first game. I think our coaching team and rodgers are more than capable. But i do feel as fans we have the right to speculate. And in my humble opinion from what I've seen so far. tremmel is the better of the 2. Without considering possible new gk
