Looking forward to the Neptune novices hurdle tomorrow. One I've been following is peregrine run for peter fahey, been in good form in Ireland but this is a cracking renewal with ballyandy and west approach and Nichols is bound to have something primed.

Your moniker reminds me of that great horse who won me a few quid at this meeting. One of the best horses never to win a gold cup

I'm going to be controversial, very controversial here.............I still think McCoy gave him a bad ride in Kauto's 1st GC. I'm convinced he ended up getting boxed in. The again i'm probably bitter as it was the last leg of a gargantuan Lucky 15!

What are we fancying for the Mackeson / Paddy Power / Betvictor Gold Cup now that the final decs are out?

My eye was drawn to Vintage Vinnie down the bottom of the weights even though Ian Ogg on Sporting Life has tipped him. Looking at those with course form, Tom George's Double Shuffle off 11 stone looks worth a sniff.

He was just unlucky to have run into the best chaser of our lifetime. Probably would have won a gold cup and couple of king George's

More Of That- brings some pure class to the race - reminds me abit of when Imperial Commander ran in the race. Absolutely destroyed Double Shuffle and As de Mee at this meeting last year! He ran credibily all chase races last year and apparenlty bled in the RSA last year. Don't have any of that he needs 3m he is a quick enough horse for this trip! And with all his problems he is a horse worth catching fresh! And i have taken a weeney bit of the 33/1 available for Him this seasons Gold Cup!

One worth backing at bigger price is Village Vic - won 2 big handicaps her last year then found a couple races including the Ryanair a little to hot to handle- can be excused at Aintree when he blundered early got rid of all chances- runs exceptionally well fresh and has gone down a couple of pounds since the spring- will try and boss all from the front and if anywhere near his form of Xmas last year he is some definate ew value at 16/1
