A quick google search would have told you he originally played as a winger and was moved to RB recently by Barca following Dani Alves' exit. He is not a RB.
He's sort of the ideal wing back in same way Alves was. A winger converted to wing back by Barca. Alba was the same, Mascherano is the same. Barca don't do proper defenders, they need defenders that can play in the final 3rd because they dominate it so much. He had a decent reputation before he went to Barca, i'd question his mentality though. Moving to Barca knowing that he won't be able to play for a year due to the transfer ban, same as Turan. Moved to a huge club knowing won't be first choice, won't actually get to play for a year anyway, but just pick up big cheque. Not sure I'd have him here, doesn't seem the type that would buy into Klopp's way. think Klopp will continue to look for players between 20-23 whose style can still be moulded into the way Klopp wants to play.
Liverpool are tracking FC Rostov forward Sardar Azmoun. At this stage he's being watched as they consider their options ahead of January.
Lfc wont be able to shop in europe cos the pound has crashed due to trump. We might afford a div 2 18 year old left full though.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be aiming to improve his defence during the January transfer window to cure the club's leaky backline, according to former striker Emile Heskey. While the Reds are the highest scorers in the Premier League, they have shipped 14 goals in their 11 matches – the most of any side in the top seven. Victory over Watford was somewhat overshadowed by the concession of a late Daryl Janmaat goal, with Klopp later preferring to identify his side's defensive shortcomings after the game than praise their attacking abilities which saw them put six past Walter Mazzari's side. The criticism came after the German was forced to tinker with his back four after Dejan Lovren withdrew with illness. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/jurgen-klo...efence-during-january-transfer-window-1590513#
Assessing Liverpool's Attacking Depth Without Danny Ings and Sadio Mane http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=world-football
well.. we will see. ings is meaningless IMO we need to just get through it but sturridge just doesn't work with firmino. they don't see to see eye to eye. I want to see origi RW in leeds game again.
Personally I think Vidal's footballing would be seriously good here but perhaps attitude/personality concerns. I'd like to see Origi RW too, no one is better suited in our current squad to take Mane's place than him.
they just don't look right. firmin olooks confused with him. the trio we play up top seem to be on the same wavelength but every time sturrdige comes on it seems to all change.
Example being when Lallana came on against United. Firmino went back to the middle of the three, Coutinho on the left and Mane on the right with Lallana making runs late.. We also missed Gini that day, Can was back but was very rusty!
yes. i could be that fimrino feels shunted out wide and loses his freedom. They all move about anyway but maybe sturrdige just has his line she likes to run and the others go **** he's in my way. It does feel like he needs to maybe start wide right and do that job plus make runs from there.
