Isn't it ironic,Joleon Lescott a player that cannot defend against set pieces scores from one, De Gea was rooted to the spot.....He so far makes Jim Leighton look good...and he couldn't save stamps.
I hope it continues. Only an idiot would sign a keeper with no prem experience without having one that does as security. De Gea may be a talented keeper, but he's a novice. Its David James all over again.

I hope this is a sign of things to come. They laughed at us when we were conceding goals in training games.They don't look all that strong at the back. The real Liverpool showed up yesterday as expected. That game was just as much a training exercise. However,it adds up to the same thing,getting things ready for when the real business starts. David James wasn't beaten by a beachball either.
