i would like to introduce the newest member of the Fulham family, little Evan was born at 0102am this morning and is already an official Fulham member at the age of only 14 hours. I can only hope he is a better good luck charm than my eldest Penny who after being born in the April of our relegation season was almost 8 months old when she new that Fulham could actually win a league game. In a few years Fulham will definately have another season ticket holder!
Congratulations Cookie. Best wishes to the whole family. PS Is this why the missus hasn't been challenging your inspired Fantasy Team this season?
Lol for some reason her team at work dud not get round to doing a fantasy league this year, they normally do one for quite a bit of cash. On the other hand I have finished 2nd in my work league 4 of the last 5 years and am determined to get my name on our trophy ( that's not a metaphor we have quite decent trophy, 20 people put £5 in each for it)!!
Well congratulations to all of you. Don't bank on him growing up a Fulham fan. My son did but my grandson is a Chelsea fan. Of all the teams he could have picked....
Congratulations on the Cookie Cub. Let's hope by the time he is old enough to realise what his dad has let him in for, he will have been bitten by the Fulham bug.
How old is he, Fulhaman? I was a misguided Manchester United "fan" (because my friends were) until I was about 10.
I was Everton fan when I was younger, just liked them.... Technically I should be a QPR fan as that is my dads and granddads team, but due to my granddads health and my dad not being a massive football fan I was never taken to games which was fatal as at about the age of 12 I went to a Fulham game with my mate next door who's whole family were season ticket holders, Fulham were 4-2 down home to Northampton in the 90th minute and drew 4-4 all and I never looked back. Although quite a laid back guy if he supports another team it would be an issue, I have no issue if he isn't in to football but I have told the wife if he supports someone else he can fund it himself as an early teen I'm not paying for him to go to another team but I'm hoping that by taking him to games having kits etc and seeing his mum and dad go off every Saturday will convince him, will try and turn it into a fun family day for them until they are trapped and it's to late
He's only 7 so plenty of time to grow out of it. His father was a Newcastle fan until he was about 10 and I took him along to his first Fulham game, then he was hooked. I expect the same thing will happen again. Only trouble is my Daughter-in-Law is a dead keen Leicester fan (following in her father's footsteps) so he may have a struggle on his hands. I'll introduce him to the delights of Sevilla FC soon to make sure he gets at least one team right.
Hearty congrats, Cookie, to you and all of your family. Good to see that the club's youth development programme is still bearing fruit!
