the goals made a tremendous difference both in the determination of the players - you could see their heads lift and the feeling in the crowd - voice found and the back to the walls , die for the cause returned from the opening games - strange thing confidence, easily gained sometimes, easily lost again - just come at the right time before some important games ahead
Great post. I understand those who cant afford to go because of the membership scheme change, but think a lot who are boycotting to protest against the Allams are actually decreasing the chances of us attracting a buyer and players and therefore increasing the likelihood of us being stuck with them. Sunderland have been in dire straits for ages and I know a lot of their fans stream out early when they are losing but at least they continue to turn up in the first place. Everyone will have their reasons for not going but the collective message it sends out I think is that the overall the people of Hull aint that bothered about having a PL team.

I actual think you are not far off with your comments, certainly driving the game normally near the ground it is busy, but yesterday very quiet we drove straight to out parking spot. Certainly on Henriksen and Mason they just need a bit of time to get up to speed, I thought both did OK and Mason is slowly getting there. His little reverse ball in the corner to Clucas who then set up Snoddys goal was a delight. Keane has to do more to convince me, but I am prepared to give him time. Marshall hasn't done anything wrong for me, though I do feel sorry for Jak has he has done well also, but Marshall was very good yesterday.
I couldn't see that it was Mason's pass to Clucas from North Nice ball Looks lightweight, but hopefully will develop into someone that can open defences when he gets to know the squad better (unusually optimistic post alert!)
That's a great play....considering how **** we usually are at throw ins! Henriksen should be given the assist.
A Southampton fan with far too much time on his hands, has calculated the results required over the next round of games, for them to drop into the relegation zone. please log in to view this image
I just remembered something... Why the **** are City fans throwing the ball back to the opposition so they can take quick goalkicks and throw ins in the closing minutes when we're winning?! I know no one is used to that situation(!), but the guilty parties should be chucked out and banned
Well it wasn't the guy sat in front of me in the west stand as he kept the ball and probably still has it at home
Has anyone kicked to ball out of the stadium before? I was gobsmacked at the speed that the ball came back for Southampton's throw in's. But when the ball did not come back, the fussy **** of a ref looked as if he was going into the crowd to get it, he did not want the first ball he was offered.
Yes I thought that was funny, why the ref wanted the ball back from the stand instead of using the one he had been given was strange. First time I have seen the ball go over the stand and not come back also.
It's because Southampton were cheating. The clubs either agree to play multi ball using the ball boys, or the clubs agree to play with one ball only. The clubs had clearly agreed the latter yet when the ball was cleared into the west stand the saints bench chucked on a training ball to speed things up. Not allowed.
It's worse than that. My friend works in the PA control centre at both City and FC games, where they announce the attendance figures. They get the official figures through, then they're told what figure to announce, and it's anywhere from 1,000-3,000 higher. FACT.
Good on him, but in the closing minutes it went into South for a goal kick - immediately thrown back from several rows back East for a throw in - immediately thrown to them FFS And in North the ball boy scurried to pass it to Marshall who replied with a scowl and a 'relax you daft ****er' hand signal (at least that's what I heard in his sign language anyway) If we'd been losing the ball boys would have been asleep!
