LJ needs to sit down and really start to think about his tactics, and set up.
One win in six is concerning,Managers have Sussed out our early season form,
Tammy must be well peed of up front on his own, clearly prefers someone alongside him.
People say LJ is one of the brightest young managers out there,I hope he can see, he needs to change his formation.
Brum, and Reading, I see zero points coming our way, with the current system played.
Go on Lee get two up front next Saturday, preferably Tammy, and Gustov, to start.
Bring Wilbs on later if required.
Let's hope we. can stop the blip, and get back on track, two points off the play offs is great, but we cannot stay in the mix winning one in Six games ongoing.

LJ needs to sit down ? The runt needs to stand up.
Even with untold millions spent on players we're heading south.
Hasn't a clue of his best team or set up.

I think some of the players need to stand up, sloppy play and mistakes is not to do with LJ's best team or formations.
Korey's blunder and what the hell was our keeper doing?
Millions has nothing to do with anything (Leicester proved it last season)
Brighton are a good side with plenty of Premier experience, Yes City fell way short yesterday but I believe we will turn it around but maybe not to the extent some imagine.

Brighton has had a settled side for 2 years or more . if we base City on their template we will be in their position in 2018/19 season! but without Tammy....

The players need to step up, way too mnay bad defensive errors and poor finishing has cost us this season,

Bobby Reid has cost us points with woeful finishing from point blank range
Aden Flint has cost us points with poor defending
Against Brighton, sloppy play by Smith, followed by a howler from O'Donnell cost us, and then more sloppy/bad play by O'Neil led to the second

It's a different plyer making basic mistakes game after game, how on earth can a manger set up a team and factor that in, even SAF couldnt do much about that?

Give LJ a break, he is doing well - can we not remember where we were last season

Different standard of players this team,we expect to see a marked improvement,I hope we don't derail and come back down with a crash.

Our last 6 league games are W2 D1 L3, which is pretty average for the mid table side we are and therefore there is no need to panic. We were beaten by the better side on Saturday. It happens

We're an average side that's overachieved until now. Apart from Fulham maybe have we really played well in any game for 90 minutes?

I'm glad people are realising this now, although it will be a bit painful for the fans who think we will go up with reality kicking in.

Birmingham and Reading next, more tougher times to come.

Does having Korey and Gay O'neill playing work?

We've spent more in the last 12 months on fees and salaries than we ever have.
The direction we're going we'll be nearer relegation than play offs.
Junior wants more millions in January.
    He's a lucky lucky boy.

    'Our last 6 league games are W2 D1 L3'

Forest, in turmoil, 2-1 home win.
Cardiff haven't won since, they even lost at home to Wigan.
QPR haven't won since and manager just sacked.
Blackburn, we were dire and lucky with deflected winner 90th minute.
Barnsley, but for a terrible penalty we'd have lost there.
Brighton, even with our millions spent, made us look as we did last year.

Need to look further than bare results.

Of course we've spent more that's how inflation works. Prices and salaries go up. We are still well adrift of the top sides in this division on both so the fact that we are holding our own is a bonus. Away games are always tough. We've won the two home games we needed to win and we lost to a very good Brighton side. I know that doesn't fit in with your Johnson bashing tirade but those are the facts

I didn't ever think we'd do better than finishing up somewhere around mid-table come the end of the season, and at present I still don't think we are better than a mid table team, possibly even finishing below halfway as teams like Leeds, Derby and Villa sort themselves out and come good.

IMHO we are several players short of what would be needed to sustain a top 6 challenge at this level, and the fact we are more or less relying on a teenager to score the vast majority of our goals is just folly and is asking for trouble, because at some point he will have a proper barren stretch and then what ? Plan B seems to be Wilbs, who bless him will contribute a goal every now and then, but that's not a long term fix. And then there is Engal who may come good in time, but it's unlikely to be anytime very soon. Reid scores occasionally but....

Flint, Tomlin, Bryan all score, but not many between them.

But if it's a building plan and gives LJ time for a little experimentation whilst keeping us away from the very bottom of the league, and we come out stronger and give everyone a good hiding next season, then I don't have too much to complain about.

    For now.

Oher teams haven't sussed City out as we as fans don't know what his team is. Mistakes are also happening due to the constant changes. Lee Johnson has spent a lot of money and a lot of these players are his now. Think City will be more than fine but it is Lee Johnson that should be stepping up

Despite our early season optimism, based on our pre-season activity, it would appear that the gloss has worn off and now we are looking at the mediocrity that has prevailed in seasons past. Lee needs to step up and be counted in the dressing room otherwise the plot could fall apart rapidly, and in case he hasn't noticed there are some that are not very happy. In reality we must face the fact that we are not even close to being ready for prime time and if you are along time supporter of City then you will understand that fact because it's in our DNA (Did not advance?).

What are you on about Mike? So being mid table this season after being in relegation battle last year is not advancing then?

No, I think we are doing OK and yet we could be doing better. Getting the right formation and the players going by the script is a difficult task, however we need to get it right soon or we could fall off the pace quickly and I for one don't want to see the past brought back to life. We are so close and yet we seem to have a problem achieving our full potential but to answer your question I am more than happy with our progress over the last couple of seasons so let's just hope we can show the rest what we are made of soon.

THE END RESULT always depends on how you look at it in getting there ! So many times on here you get the comment we just need to keep on winning / doing our own thing / sod the rest and yet the end result where you finish is determined by those and those that did better than you and those that did worse ! If you were top and finished mid table or bottom and finished mid what is the difference? to a team that were mid table from start to finish?
we are a third of the way through, and our last 8 results still keep us in top 9 erforming clubs for that period ...
    1 Newcastle 8 22 18 7 11 D W W W W W W W
    2 Brighton 8 20 15 3 12 W D W D W W W W
    3 Preston 8 17 15 8 7 W D W D W W L W
    4 Leeds 8 16 10 6 4 W L W L D W W W
    5 Derby 8 14 10 6 4 L W D W D L W W
    6 Reading 8 14 11 8 3 W L D D L W W W
    7 Bristol City 8 13 11 8 3 W W W L L W D L
    8 Aston Villa 8 13 9 8 1 D D L D W W D W
    9 Sheffield Weds 8 13 8 8 0 W W L W D W L L
    7 f this 9 (except for PNE not played them and Norwich doing worse ) we have played ! won 2 D 1 L 4 (in the past 8 games just 2 W1 L 1 )
SO NOT AS BAD AS WE SUSPECT .....y e t

Suggest you have another look at Cardiffs results since they beat us. Someone's not researching properly and just bashing because LJ puked in your cornflakes sometime in a past life.
