Goals scored this season. Defoe - 6 Vardy - 2 Sturridge - 2 Rashford - 3 Kane - 3 Guess who isn't in the England squad? Farce. W*nkers.
Didnt you know he's too old to play at that level!!! He only just manages to get by in the hardest fastest league in the world mate. No way could he cope with international level football!
Prob get beat anyway the jocks will be well up for it and Horse face doesn't know what a proper team looks like.
well thats finished this thread 3 posts and all the replies have been said bollocks nowt for me to add
The four others play for the Creme de La Creme of the Premier league, however Defoe happens to play for little old Sunderland. He's outscored all these so called top strikers whilst playing for the bottom club which all the so called pundits have us as the worst team in the league, and perhaps, they are right but that hasn't stopped a class striker from doing what he does best and that's still not enough for the FAs muppets, shame on them.
I don't know that Vardy plays for the creme de la creme. And he's vastly overrated anyway- he's one dimensional and rendered next to useless with his back to goal. Give him a ball to run on to mind....
I get it if the plan is to play 1 up front. Who would freely choose to play Defoe as a loan striker. He'll never get a sniff, he's not all round enough. It's fair play for me having thought about as most teams are reluctant to give up a man in midfield or defence to field 2 strikers. Also there's just been an international tournament so time is on the side to introduce the likes of Rashford to the international scene. It's sad we have to rely on him but we do, England don't, they have a large pool to choose from of forwards who can lead the line on their own better than Defoe and there's youngsters with bags of potential ready to embark on their international careers. I'm glad. Less risk of loosing him to injury. Sad for him personally but I bet he understands the reasons.
