Without Toby - 3 draws against Leicester, Bournemouth & West Brom. You have conceded 2 goals in them and barely managed to scrape points. So 2 points in 3 games is a great defensive record Everton have shipped 7 goals in those last 3 games & still have 1 more point than you.
Strikers and goals get you points. Defenders and clean sheets prevent you from losing them. Or is that too elementary for you to understand? Our defensive record in his absence has shown that we have excellent strength in depth at the back. Where we're lacking, which you would know had you seen any of our games, is up front. So 2 points in 3 games is a terrible attacking record Now kindly **** off and enjoy your 14 hours on top of the league until Arsenal beat us tomorrow
Thanks for breaking it down for me Without Toby - you guys are susceptible and so playing 'Parked bus' tactics - hence no attacking threat. If Toby plays - your forwards will trust the Defense better and play with more freedom.
Both of these lines are just wrong. You'd know this if you'd watched more than the 30 second MOTD highlights of the games you're attempting to expertly dissect. The only notable gap in our attacking tactics with Toby out is that his excellent long-range diagonal passing can be brilliant at spotting and picking out runs in the final third. We've definitely missed them. But to suggest we 'parked the bus' in games where we enjoyed 60-70% of possession is just laughable.
You are wrong. You don't have the 2nd best defensive record in the last 3 PL games. Watford have. 0 goals allowed & 7 pts from the last 3 games.
Spurs parking the bus/Are you kidding?...and I thought Donald Trump spoke more guff than anyone. Congrats sir.You now have his title as the champion guff writer.
Poch is doing a LvG effectively. Dominate the ball without doing anything. Stats back that. Congratulations for being new LvG.
Always remember, Moronho coined the term "parking the bus" - so any Chelsea fan using it apparently never watched their own team when he was in charge.
Liverpool and Chelsea are looking extremely strong so far this season, and without any european football should be nailed on to finish in the top 4. January isn't exactly the best time for it, but I feel we're gonna have to address any issues we have and make a move. Those CL places look tougher than ever this season. A January loan move for someone like Isco may well be a necessity if this continues.
I don't get this argument. Per your logic, with Euro footy we should never have won our titles in the past. with or without Europe - great teams win titles.
So if we were to give you the benefit of the doubt and you meant a few ; could you please be a little more specific. How many is a few?
European football means more games, more travelling, more fatigue, more squad rotation and possibly more injuries to juggle. Yes, great teams win titles, but it's obviously going to be advantageous if you don't have to deal with anything I've just mentioned.
