One major difference is suarez will create something out of nothing. He has that street football style where he'll run through 2 players by getting 4 deflections and itanding perfectly in his path. Firm doesn't have that and probably never will. Clever link up play and movement but he misses that X factor that makes Suarez so special.
I agree with this to some extent, Suarez just had that star quality, a moment out of brilliance out of nowhere in a game.. Still, Firmino will be a fantastic player for sure.
Continuing the Suarez love in - one of my favourite moments was when we played beat arsenal 5-1 and he smashed the ball against the bar. Don't think I've seen a ball struck as hard or as sweet like that.
Mine was when we played the blueshite at Goodison, Moyes had slated Suarez for diving prior to the game, after scoring Suarez celebrated by running over to the Everton bench and simulating one of his best dives in front of the ginger one.
#myfavouritesuarezmoments One of them was when the Norwich fans all gave him a ****load of stick for missing a relatively easy chance (think he tried to chip the keeper and it went over) then from the resulting goal kick he won the ball back off Turner (I think?) and scored making them all look like idiots. Another small Suarez moment I liked was this against Fulham:
Remember that Norwich goal very well ..........think there was a nutmeg in there too, and a finish with the outside of the right foot
That's the one, absolutely superb. The best thing about Suarez was that he wasn't bothered about individual accolades and goals, he was just as happy to see Flanno scoring as he was to score himself. To be honest he was probably even happier to see Flanno score than when he scores himself. He has no ego, which is rare for a player of his ability.
He would get super annoyed if people didn't pass to him or took a shot instead of pass and really lay into them but it seemed a more heat of the moment thing as seconds later as you say he'd be celebrating that someone else has just scored even more so than when he does. He just wanted everyone to be perfect and enjoyed winning games of football no matter who won it. He was a selfish batard but completely unselfish at the same time... if that makes sense.
remember him putting several on a plate for Sterling instead of shooting himself which did his confidence wonders
Youve not watched Cout back end of last year and his season. 5 goals and 5 assists in 10 and half games. Guys on a different level to anyone else so far this year.
