Thoughts on the season so far? Not just safc but in general. Chelsea looking very strong. City i just can't make my mind up, superb one minute, pretty average the next. Utd look all ****ed up (i had them to finish top, ****er) Arsenal. Good. Very good. In with a shot? Spurs... ****ers... The end Safc hull and swansea in a battle, but everyone else looks decent. Burnley, i like burnley, ****ing both the scousers. So best team, game, player etc so far?
City were frightenjngly good yesterday vs Everton. Alonso chipped in with a goal. Arsenal look very slick. City and Liverpool too erratic. Still a bunch of clubs in the bottom half with little between them for now. All is not lost.
Chelsea v Everton. They were superb. Glad we werent playing them on that form. May have been double figures. . What is the highest prem score? Why am i thinking liverpool v palace about 9-0. Dont mention ston v us.
If we can find discover Burnley's secret on teamwork, commitment never-say-die attitude, we'll claw our way out of this mess once again. We also shouldn't forget Leicester were once dead and buried at Christmas and stayed up comfortably in the end. Moyes has said he realised that our lack of the ball in our first games this season meant the players were knackered at the end of the game and that's why we were conceding late goals. No **** Sherlock! I'm still not convinced about Moyes. I don't know if yesterday's performance was because of Moyes or inspite of him. What I did see was a fantastic shift put in by 2 players, 1 up front and 1 at the back. That was the difference for me. And some good luck at times that mostly went our way. There's still a fragility at the back and in midfield but we all know that a season can turn from just 1 small event, a tackle, a goal, an offside, a save. I just hope the lads take that feelgood factor into the Hull game and Anichebe can repeat that performance. Two straight wins could do wonders and instill some real self-belief and confidence in the rest of the squad.
Because of Moyes or inspite of him. Hhmm never thought of it that way. He is one drab friggin bloke like
Hazard's performance yesterday was probably the performance of the season so far, he was unplayable. I still reckon Arsenal will win it, they are looking a really good team and Ozil is in the form of his life.
Chelsea are starting to look the real deal now. Arsenal are also looking awesome at times but they have a habit of dropping silly points and I think that's where they'll fall down by the end of the season.
Every top team will have a bad spell, sooner or later. We aren't in the mix this year by the looks of it, huge defensive issues being overlooked will cost us. Chelsea look phenomenal right now and a close second, sadly, Liverpool look very good too. Arsenal I expect to fall apart when the going gets tough again. As for the bottom. It'll be tight again, experience may count, but based on your squad when the fixtures start to pile up I'd say you'll be on of the three.
If Arsenal win the league this Arsenal Reporter will present the show in a mankini. Please please please let it be Arsenal
I do actually mate. I think they've got the mentality in their squad to do it. They need a leader of real quality in CM and they'll be a real force. I still think Chelsea look the most likely though at the minute.
Chelsea were class yesterday and Hazard is in the form of his life. When he uisn't others are and Conte has des a job and a half with that squad.
Liverpool best team I have seen, they have already beaten Arsenal and Chelsea away, relegation between Sunderland, Swansea, Hull, West Brom and Burnley.
