I'd expect the Don to be run in to 4th and 5th or P.U for most of the year...Grand National is surely his target and Giggy will be keen to line one up on a good mark after Rule The World's success this year. A GN has always looked right up his alley.

Valseur Lido could be a very live Gold Cup contender. Looks a really nice prospect and beyond 3 miles will see him in even better light.

Just back from Toytown Racecourse. How close were we to landing some decent place bets this evening huh. Oh well, delighted with our boy again, he really is so much fun to own.

Where is Boris with this evenings Breeders Cup tips?

What a game and result Ste - been a long time coming - sister was at it and says the atmosphere is electric - great time to be in Chicago with the Cubs winning the series after 104 years too....

Some heavy hitters have chucked a few quid at this. Pat Veitch and Bill Gredley single handedly smashing the target of £20k. The cash won't get his movement back but it may help him learn how to live a full life.

Keep ploughing those winnings in chaps.

Im happy to be running these things at my age and when I see Tylicki ( a juvenile in REAL terms) and Ricksen ( a club legend) I KNOW I should be greatful to be able to chose to go out tomorrow at all! So if my efforts encourage an extra £1 in each coffer then I can put a wee extra step forward in acknowledgement of what we ALL take for granted! I may post a few times in the lead up to this race advising progress bt please donate directly!!!!!

A friend of ours died of MND this year Gaz. Before she died she set up a charity and was determined to raise £52,000 which would pay for a year of research for Professor Talbot and his team at the John Radcliffe. To date we have raised just under £80K.
People talk about cancer, yes I know its an awful disease but at least you have some chance. With MND you have NO chance. Our friend was an amazing woman, an events organiser who was responsible for the G8 summit, the Popes visit and all the parking for the Olympic sites. A really clever cookie. It was awful and humbling to watch her decline. From diagnosis to death was a mere six months! We continue the battle!
