Pavyluchenko won't happen unless Tottenham bring in an new striker. Would you want to go into the season with just Crouch and Defoe up front

droopy would prob want about 15mil for Pavyluchenko so cant see that happening

 

at the start of the window i'd have said no but now as other options have disappeared then yes i'd have him here better than defoe/crouch/cole/long etc.

 

Won't happen imo - he's older than Joey and so if he was to get a 4 year contract Barton will be hopping. No point spending £10M+ on a player who has not been prolific in this country and has age against him. If he was 26 then yup but he's not so nup

 

I think a loan deal for him would be ideal and that would give us plenty of time to buy a good replacement. IMO hes underrated. I watched him a lot before he joined spuds. At spuds he has not been played to his full potential.

Hes technically very good. The issue is hes tall but his style of player does not go hand in hand with a tall player. He is not like Carrol, hes not powerful. Hes more suited to a berbatov role and likes the ball to his feet.

I would have him for real!

the perfect thing to do to stun all of us n shut our gobs ,would be to sign sturridge,as much chance of that as shearer n keegan sing for hes a jolly good fellow to big mike (unfortunately)

No thanks 30 this year ridiculous price for him average player with no potential, goes against our transfer policy we sign cheap young talented footballers with great potential and resale value so I don't think NUFC are looking at him.

 

We don't need strikers for the future though, we need a striker for now!! That we can sign on a 2/3 year contract that can score goals for us in the next few seasons, we don't need every player we sign to be a potential star.

Getting Pav on a loan would be great though, but i'd sign him for the right price also.

 

Chelsea must have to send one of their strikers out on loan, they've got Drogba, Torres, Anelka, Lukaku, Sturridge and Kalou. That's 6 world class strikers and sometimes Malouda plays with the front three. Surely we could get one of these on loan, even if it was just Kalou!

 

Kalou would be a good shout I think, provided he isnt on silly money.

 

He'd fit our team brilliantly, playing off Ba's knockdowns would be exciting as he knows where the goal is. Although unfortunately i think he'll end up at a Russian side for stupid money

 

You might be right, the team who bought Zhirkov I think it is, have mega rich owners and offered Eto'o 20 million Euros per year wages, and 30 million fee to Inter. Also tried to get Ganso for 40 odd million.

 

30 in December, decent player but hasn't done much much at Spurs, high wages and transfer fee - no thanks

 

He isn't even that good. A 1 in 3 striker or less I reckon.
