    pretty poor attempt at IRONY, the guy who made it obviously didn't know what it was and just thought it was a design.

    I'm happy to see a big flag with the Shankly Gates on it hanging around Stamford Bridge to be honest!

    I do not think that word means what you think it means.

    Irony would be paying a very large sum of money for a player, then getting beaten by the team you bought him from with the player in the lineup.

    Perhaps it was a get-out clause so that if Liverpool did win it would feel more like an away game with the Shankly Gates there. It certainly sounded more like Anfield. That £50m would've been better spent on lozenges for silenced Chav throats.
