I don't believe anyone should have to wear the poppy if they don't want to(my father wore it),or the Lily worn by republicans on Easter. I'd also ban any religious signs like blessing yourself(save that for the church) and equally I don't think you should be made to wear the anti-racism shirts. I agree you shouldn't be forced to wear it, and certain players in the past have refused to wear it and they just don't have it on their shirts. But i'd be very surprised if any England players don't want to wear it.
I would hope no England player would object. Personally I don't care who wears it. I never did(and I was in the RAF for a short time) but not because I was opposed to it, I was just never put in that situation. A lot of Irishmen fought and died in both world wars...
