Hard to tell what they were singing on Sky but did i hear a song with "you chelsea b'stard" in it? Surely a reference to Dear old Ken.

Can anyone tell me the words that were being sung.

    Cheers
    Kebab.

Some question about where has all the money gone, that & washing one's mouth with soap. It was starting to get very vitriolic. Mind you the crowd did sing, "there's only one Simon Grayson", at which point he applauded the crowd for their support. So not all bad today

I hope they were being ironic when singing that and the idiot didn't realise.

It's obvious to everyone except Clowntime that Bates is the one holding the club back. Very clear indeed. It's probably Bates stopping Grayson from appointing a better defensive coach.

Bates is holding the club back by sticking with Grayson!

Grayson should be a better defensive coach himself!

Should we get in a defensive coach, a midfield coach, an attacking coach, someone to formulate the tactics, someone to sign players, someone to pick the team, someone to do interviews, leaving Grayson to do what he does best, stand on the touchline looking gormless?

Or should we just get a new manager who can actually fulfill the basic criteria of a manager!

I'd be happy to give you the job Clivetime if I was Chairmen, but you'd probably get boo'd out of it by the end of the week for been a cynical as$. Mabye we should get a manger that can't get us promoted, or gets us relegated instead of near play offs, you know Gary Mac, or Dennis Wise, or perhaps we could raise the Don from the Dead and get him to manage, I mean I don't mind another season in League One. Sarcasm over. Grayson is one of the best managers this club has had in years, if not a decade. He buys star players like Max Gradel, Davide Somma, Patrick Kisnorbo on a budget that hasn't spend more than 700k on an individual player since we were in the premier league. He gets us promoted and not only manages to keep us in the league (which was what most leeds fans were saying was the aim before the start of last season) but manages to make us a promotion contender, granted an outside chance of promotion but still better than some teams that had been in the league for years.

But Grayson also brought in garbage like Billy paynter, any ob, fed bessone, Paul Connolly, Alex Bruce, Neil Collins, Sam vokes, Lee trundle, tony capaldi, Faye, McCarthy, Liam Dickinson, Doyle, Hogan ephraim, Shane lowry! And of course your going to find some ratio where a player is successful with us!

Batesy out! Sick of been shafted....

Wish you would stop with your ****ing dribble, so we get rid of Grayson and appoint who? We could have ANY manager in the world in charge and with no money to spend and Bates as chairman we are never going to be where us as Leeds fans want to be.

No Clivetime, there was no irony. It is Bates that is the problem. SG is doing the best with what's available to him. That said, you can't plan for your CB going walkabout. But you can replace him. So let's hope OB gets dropped next week & replaced by either Bromby, Bruce, or Lees.

He's not doing the best with what's available, he's doing the worst!

It doesn't cost you a million pounds to get your team selection and tactics right!

Just for once Clive, you might actually have a valid point. 451, even away from home against a decent side, sends out entirely the wrong signal, especially as we still have the players to play 442 even with Becchio & Somma missing

What do you mean I have a valid point for once?

It's the same point I always make!

4-5-1 needn't be negative, in fact when we switched to 4-5-1 against Scunthorpe we ran out 4-1 winners and turned our season around.

The problem is, regardless of formation, Grayson always sends the players out on the back foot, away from home, and it's only when we go a goal down that we start to get into the game. Remember Forest last season? That's the perfect example.

One match gone & the Leeds carpers are at it again. You people need to get real - you are not a big club any longer & Bates simply does not have the money to plough in.
I think Bates would be quite justified in saying to the whingers "get your cheque books out if you are so keen to spend money" Leeds fell from grace as a result of the clown Risdale spening money you simply did not have
Wake up in the real world!

We have the largest fan base in the league, pay some of the highest prices, finished 7th last season whilst being the league's second top scorers and kept all our key players. Bates doesn't need to have 'the money to plough in', the club's income is already large enough - we are currently wasting £7million on redeveloping a stadium we don't own.

Sounds ridiculous that we expect our club to challenge for promotion now, doesn't it?

We have the core of a team that could challenge for promotion - Howson, Snoddy, Gradel, Becchio. We needed to improve our defence (one of the worst last season), but so far we've only added Darren O'Dear. We have a right to be annoyed at the club.
