Anyone else waiting up just to see that glorious Waggy strike again? Could Sky+ it, but it was such a great goal that I can't wait until the morning to see it again.
Yeah, I missed it on Sky. Thought they weren't allowed to show it until after it had been on The Football League Show. Glad you replied though Super Chrissy, thought I was on my own waiting for this to come on!
Coventry Manager - Andy Thorn... Who? I have never heard of him. Looked like a fan who has been plucked out the crowd. Another manager observation - Sean Dyche, looks like a nutter.
Great centre-back for Palace and Wimbledon and played in a F.A.Cup Final for each so you should have heard of him. I must admit I missed his being appointed Coventry manager, though. When did that hapen?
Ah, just wiki'd him. 1988 Cup Final is the first one I watched, I can be forgiven for not remembering him in that. As for his appearance for Palace in a Cup Final, I don't remember watching that or if I did I have obviously erased it from my memory due to the disgust. Says April this year he was appointed Cov manager.
Recorded it. Just watched the L1 part now. First two goals, very nice. Have they removed the emails/texts section altogether, or is she just on holidays? I'll say one thing for Lizzie, she was far far better than the bloke they had doing it at times last season - at least she knew the names of the clubs and players in the league.
Good to see lee hughes up to his old tricks again....thorughly unlikeable thug. And that awful goal scoring celebration. Glad lizzie is no more hope its permanent
It is very sad for the image of the game that we all love that people like Hughes are allowed to play in it when they should still be in jail. How he got away with throwing their defender to the ground for NC's first goal I'll never know.
Lizzie's on Maternity Leave, postponed from the end of last season. Hopefully, she'll enjoy it so much that...no, stop it Tewks.
Anyone notice Christian Dailly playing for portsmouth? First I heard....one month contract apparently.
Absoloutely, bit surprised to see him playing Championship football but Portsmouth are thread bare at the moment (only named four substitutes yesterday).
Wish daily all the best. Noticed last night it was he who had a 35 yard shot with deflected in to Luke varneys path to equalise for Pompey.
beautiful, trying to branch out and extend his worth perhaps haha. Downloaded and watched the FLS here, its great being able to watch this show down here. Waggy's goal ........................ Sweet !
Good for Dailly, wish him nothing but the best. Wherever he is, I'm sure he'll do a solid, professional job.
