Said it before - Would rather be winning games and be top of the Championship than failing to win any of the first 10 in the Premier League and have another relegation battle to look forward to.........
Really don't get the point you're making there Freddie - we know we weren't good enough and accepted it and moved on. don't really understand the point you're trying to make here????? you're getting a C- (must try harder) for this pathetic attempt.......
I saw a sunderland fan tweet something like, Sunderland are rubbish, but at least I'm crying Premiership Tears! Proper made me laugh this. Honestly if any fan had the choice, stay up but lose the majority of games and get relegated the following season or Get Relegated and start building something and come up as champions with money and a big squad, I think I know what most people would choose. It woulda been great if we had stayed up last year, but would our players have been up for it? Would Mitro have got himself fit? Would lascelles be captain and playing? I think having a year of getting that winning mentality back is imperative for our return to the PL. When we do go back up, Rafa will make the signings we need and ensure that we are prepared to compete.
I cant wait until April, PL status re-secured, The EFL Cup sitting in our cabinet next to the FA Cup and the Mackems bottom of the PL on 6 points and relegated! Heard it here first guys!

You have to be carefull, 31 matches left. Millwall were top 20 years ago at Xmas but were relegated that season, Brighton had a fantastic run but failed, Huddersfield and Norwich were top recently and look at them, then you have 4 months of crappy pitches coming and bad weather.
Very true - but we can at least console ourselves with the fact that, whatever the Fates have in store for us, we won't be watching sunderland. Every cloud has a silver lining
I'd like SAFC stay up Monty so we can give you boys more of a game next year and return things to normal but sadly it's looking bleak for the Premiership's worst ever team right now... hehehehehehe
I think if we come up, the mackems would prefer to go down, they will be too scared to lose their 6-in a row so if it means a complete collapse and league 2 in a couple of years, they will take it. I understand it, I wouldn't wanna risk playing us under Rafa once his had time and money to build his own team.
