I believe if we hadn't had our heads dropped so early it could have been a different game. Chelsea had a game plan and executed it perfectly. Score early, sit back and counter. We learn from it, Claude learns from it. Sometimes you just have to accept you were outplayed. This isn't a case of 'yet again' and we've been playing well, that's why I'm not concerned. I fully trust Claude and the team to bounce back, we're still having a good season. Bring on Milan, time to get our revenge!
Good game lads, you have a good team there I'm sure this result won't knock you back but we did play well in the second half. Good luck!
Goalscoring is certainly a massive issue. If my memory is correct... we've only scored more than once in the PL in 2 matches. One against WHU when they were shocking, and the other against Burnley where we had 30+ shots.
Stick with what? I'm not having a dig at the manager or the team, just stating facts which most of us knew at the end of the window... nothing really to do with this game. We lost to the better team today quite simply. Stupid goal to concede early doors played right into your hands and you were in full control from then on mate. That change to the back 3 has really transformed you lot to be fair and think most will struggle against you.
On a more serious note I've just realised my local Pizza shop is shut today Now where the hell am I gonna order from
We miss that top quality striker that the best teams have that can create something after being quiet for long periods, e.g. Costa today, although I feel Martina should have got closer to him.
