Fair play mate. I haven't come on here to cause friction and I genuinely wish you guys luck against Chelsea and for the season in general. Saintsfan08 is a ****ing idiot though, I just wondered if he was actually one of yours or just an account designed to try and stir up **** on the PL board.
It's interesting that in the press this match is now being seen as a test of Chelsea's title credentials - what a different a week makes - despite reasoning being our home form, and us being undefeated since their last visit. Our 'good form' last weeks result has made 'em dig a bit deeper.
Apart from the formation change at Chelsea is we are creating more chances in games. The matches against Man Utd & West Ham show this although the latter was marred by the seven changes to the team that thrashed Utd and I think Conte took them too lightly. During that game had we had taken our chances like against Utd we probably would have won. I don't think for one minute Conte will underestimate Saints as you have a very good home record and a tight defence. I hope JT doesn't start as he no longer has the legs for that system but I reckon Conte will start with the same team more or less than he did against Utd. It's an intriguing match and one both teams will be up for. I'd like a Chelsea win but the probable result will probably be a draw looking at the pundits opinions. Anyway good luck and enjoy the game it's sure to be a corker!
Yeah, I think you've got it about right. I usually dont put much stock in pundits, buy along with most Chelsea fans, I think this will be tight - Im hoping our fullbacks play blinders
All boards sadly have their fair share of **** stirrers. Some so called fans are trying to go back to the 70's so that a near riot happens at each game. Certainly looks that way at West Ham anyway. I'm guessing they are trying to emulate their grandfathers behaviour perhaps. Take it from me any person that tries to cause trouble in the name of any football club is not a true fan of that club. Good humoured banter is part and parcel but there is a heck of a difference from what some see as banter and stupid **** stirring.
Same - this morning the wife suggested the twins should be going to bed earlier than 7.15pm when there is school the following morning - I whole-heartily agreed and said 6.30pm would be a good time; she was very pleased with my prompt and positive response. I thought it best not to mention the match starts at 7.00pm tonight...
