    Stop dropping off and conceding midfield play 442 and put anechebe up top to give Defoe some help.Can't get any worse.....can it

    I was thinking that, when the side isn't functioning as an attacking unit you'll get very little joy from playing a lone striker with no physical presence. Big guy little guy has to be worth a try at least.

    We concede the midfiled with three in the middle, how is putting 2 against 3 every week improve that? We need to give defoe a partner I agree with that. But we need to keep 3 in the middle, given we've still got fullbacks who can't defend 352 seems the right way for me. None of that matters a jot if we keep gifting goals by our CBs.

    Moyes can't make game saving substitutions, he is too rigid in his thinking, he lost my support today, not using his options to change our shape but just replacing like with like, but where we go from here is anybody's guess, we are in free fall no mistake.

    We cannot play any formation never mind 4-4-2, he made changes when we were drawing and look what happened which is pathetic. we are as bad as 10 years ago. And three second half collapses by 3 goals at home this season.

    The lads right, just hope our coaches and players, are thinking about it. The period between Defoe scoring yesterday and their second, crucial goal, spoke volumes and its getting louder. <ok>

    If you're adrift much more by January, you should do what Villa should have done last season and that is to start assembling your side for next season in the Championship, instead of just sitting there and not spending anything, it'll give you a huge advantage going into next season if you have a squad that know each other.
