I don't get the ALF comments. Huge money for us and Sordell is better IMO.

Where are you in Europe? Anywhere near Bulgaria by any chance?

Sorry Millens, I cannot speak for others, but it clashes with my goat milking course so I will not manage it.

Did you get to your game today? If so how did the pie man show up in his two minute guest appearance?

Just trying to take his mind off his team Norway.

Reading the BBC match report, boos could be heard at the ground.

Could they have been for the pieman?:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Sorry, I wouldn't wish to distort his mind even more. <laugh> Really nice guy, but misguided in to supporting his team. He knows at the bottom of his heart he would really like to be a Hornet fan. ;)

No, I did all that way a couple of years of go, stuck to the West this time; mainly France and Switzerland, way. Currently in Marseille, not sure where I am heading next. I have 10 days to go on an Inter rail pass so I'll see how I feel come Tuesday. Now you mention it, the Balkans would be good.

Marseille is the only place in France that I have felt threatened. Still I had strayed into the downtown area and the guy was not native French. Great city though, even if the Mayor has turned out to be a bit dodgy more than once. He owns their football team.

Cheers, Norway. On a football note, I went to Marseille's opening game of the season and I have to say the Vic is miles better than their ground, although their atmosphere beats us. They only have one stand with a roof and the facilities are shocking especially when you factor in the cost of the match ticket. 4 goals in the game but not really a thriller.

Not felt threatened here but it definitely has the vibe of a place where you need to be on your toes and alert.

You really surprise me Bradleysdad. I have been past that ground several times while trying to find the ferry to Corsica, and from the outside it appears really good compared to most. I admit to having never been into a ground over here, but most that I have seen do not attract me. My local one at Chateauroux is council owned and is a four sided concrete edifice set in a concrete car park. Ticket prices however start at €4 for the equivalent of a championship match, and even that only attracts 6-7,000 fans most of the time.
