Sanchez is world class, class above everyone else on the pitch today.

Smallest man on the pitch beats Kone to score a header, if that isn't proof the players don't want to play for that ginger horrific faced **** I don't know what is. Get rid already let's not limp out of the league for the sake of Ellis Shorts number 1 target if anything it just proves he should have had no input on the decision what so ever

Poor from Kone and Jones. Kone has no clue where he is, Jones knows this, can see this, has no marker but is completely static. my not have caught him but could have put pressure on him. Pair of them imo. Add to that PVA is getting caught out of position again and again yet again it's the defence letting us down.

Those exact defensive players (I'm using poetic license by including jones) looked pretty solid under Sam

Sam had an initial nightmare with PVA though. Took ages to get the best out of him defencively.

Of course pea was our weak link early last season but grew game by game with Sam. Moyes has undone all of that hard work in double quick time.

Disagree, Sam didn't get anything out of him till after christmas. We lost 7 out of Sam's first 10 games with PVA all over the shop.

I can't really criticise as I'm not there but Alan Smith has just said its like our fans have already accepted relegation. The SoL needs to be our 12th man- from where I'm watching that doesn't seem to be happening.

I don't like this low energy no closing down tactic that we seem to be using.

Also, where are our goals going to come from, what's the plan? Hope that Defoe can pull something off? We're less threatening than a playful kitten.

Fair enough, however you can't argue he's (and the whole squad) have gone rapidly backwards under Moyes also our whole squad was garbage until Xmas when Sam sorted us out in January he became an important player. Moyes has had the squad Sam built and sorted out and this is what he's done with it

That's what we were like against West Ham but we're worse today. Passive, soft, flaccid, floppy. No one looking to receive the ball. Poor closing down. Poor tackling. Lack of concentration. Lack of thought. They need a di Canio style rocket up them. Moyes looks broken.

We can't defend, the midfield aren't protecting the defence of supporting the front men, or wide men don't create and give the ball away. Defoe again feeding off scraps. It's the perfect recipe for relegation.

Honestly not taking the piss or gloating but this Sunderland looks like it could well be the worst team in premier league history.
There's a lack of quality coupled with absolutely no fight on the pitch.
Really hope it comes good for you lot

Well he hasn't learnt from what ever Sam taught him has he? He's responsible for his own form and decisions. Moyes isn't making him revert, that's the players own doing. Clearly he's a high maintenance player who needs coaches on his back round the clock. Moyes needs time to learn this as Sam did. Don't forget Sam also spotted he was weak and like Moyes, toyed with the idea of 5 at the back. Just seems like Moyes is going through exactly the same thought process as Sam. Moyes needs time and a lot of money in Jan. Just like Sam did.

I think this squad is much weaker than the one Sam finished with, plus Moyes had to carry out a transfer window with little money and a squad he hadn't had time to asses.

Of course they have. Mr Motivator told all of us after the second game we were in a relegation battle <doh>

I don't ever recall asking for the manager to be sacked.

Until now. He's just not got the personality you need to drive a team out of trouble.

    Sam! You git!!!!
