    Well 4-5-1 is an option.

    Apparently.

Phelan can designate one striker or two strikers, the key either way is how they link up with midfield. That role was previously given to Snodgrass and Diomande, neither of whom are available. So a rethink of our attacking tactics is surely inevitable.

Lenihan is a very talented player at development squad level and looks promising but that's a long way off being a permanent fixture in an EPL squad.

    It'll be 3-5-2.

There is no fooking way we can play 4-5-1. We haven't a single ****ing winger available, as the only one in the entire squad is bastarding injured <doh>

Adama Diomande has been banned for three matches after being charged with violent conduct by the Football Association.

The incident occurred in or around the 90th minute of Tuesday’s night’s EFL Cup tie at Bristol City.

The Club opted not to appeal against the charge.

It means that Diomande will miss the Tigers’ Premier League fixtures against Watford, Southampton and Sunderland.

Mbokani expected to be fit for the Sunderland game but it looks like being just Hernandez & Keane available in attack for Watford & S'ton.

So what do we reckon to Hernandez and Keane up front together then? Obviously not the preferred pairing but looks like the only option... could be interesting if nothing else.

I'd probably go with something like...

    -------------Jakupovic
    -----Maguire Dawson Davies
    Elmo-----------------------------Tymon
    ----Livermore Clucas Mason
    --------Keane Hernandez

But I suspect Phelan will stick with Clucas at LWB and Meyler or Huddlestone in the middle.

I'd go with your team but suspect you're right with what he'll actually do.

It will be the team OLM suspects, and I'm fine with that.

I wonder what Phelan said to Diomande , players doing stupid things like that must drive managers crazy

Well he can replace Snodgrass with Henriksen. I suppose that Keane and Henandez up front. Please not Keane up front on his own.

Hernandez will surely start. Keane probably alongside him. Although it could even be a 3-5-1-1 a la Bruce, where Henriksen supports Hernandez. I'm not so keen on that.

Somebody who was at training today claims it's your team but with Clucas instead of Tymon on the left and then Henriksen in the middle of that midfield three.
