easy to say that .. started poorly I thought ... and yes set pieces were a blow ...however, had we started differently those corners may never have happened ..!

I'm not giving you that the difference was huge -different gravy

We could have got(and almost did) something out of the game.-we would if we had played our strongest team available. Tomlin and Tammy made a huge difference shame it was 10 minutes at the end.

Reid he played in the red number 14 shirt in case you were mistaking him for someone else-so so lightweight being pushed of ball at ease by Hull players.

We could have won last night,16000 people turned up to see that,LJ messed up big time.

Bright sparks Engvall looked very very good and quick.

Taylor Moore what quality at centre half at 19 years old,big big career ahead of him.

Its said that the worst time to concede is just before or just after half time. So we did both. Game was over really after 47 minutes as a cup tie. Bit disappointed really, as once Tammy and Tomlin came on, we nearly turned it around.
Nearly, isn't enough in a cup tie. There was a chance to get to the Quarters and maybe beyond and I think we could have played it differently. That said, Hull do seem to be coming somewhat of a bogey team for us. Back to the League then and 3 points on Saturday.

Total garbage. Were you even at the game? Henry Winter a journalist that is respected, gave Bobby Reid the same mark as Lee Tomlin, which incidentally was a highest mark of the night along with the Hull goalkeeper, which is strange seeing as according to you they were different gravy, but I guess he is a neutral and not someone who claims to be a supporter but then seems to rejoice at every defeat so he can spout more rubbish.

What we need to remember is, Tomlin and Abraham are human beings, not machines.
If we want them fit and fresh for WHEN IT MATTERS (i.e. the Championship) then it would be as well not to play them in every game that City compete in.
Just be thankful that we have them, and that LJ knows how to get the best from our 2 diamonds

I'm not sure how much Abraham and Tomlin starting would've helped us defend corners much better - saving them the exertions of a full 90 minutes, but still giving the game a good go by having them come off the bench against tired legs seemed an understandable option for me, so I have no qualms about LJ's decision.

This could be ammunition for critics (cough, RR, cough) if we don't perform against Barnsley on Saturday though. After a blistering start, they've now slowed down a bit, though still picking up points regularly. With the LJ and Brownhill links to Barnsley, I think their fans would particularly relish beating us, especially at our ground, so I expect a tough game.

EVERYTHING in life is a straight line ..

    1) at 1 sec the ref blows his whistle, at the last sec the ref blows his whistle = straight line nothing can be changed
    2) at 1 sec the ref blows his whistle ( Tammy on the pitch not Wilbs ) at the last sec the ref blows his whistle = NOTHING CAN BE CHANGED it bears not the slightest relationship to 1) other than it is a game of football /a cup match 16, 000 spectators.
within it the straight line ...has subs fouls penalties corners goals tackles mis kicks whatever, there are no IFS that can changre it ..... EG.... like Tammy/Tomlin/Flint could have had a hatrick hit the post 3 times =NO ..... HAD THE FIRST SHOT GONE IN, EVERYTHING THAT FOLLOWS IS COMPLETLY DIFFERENT ...from first to last second that is a straight line 3) 1
    FOR INSTANCE

HITS the post bounces out defender lobs it up field they score
HITS the post goes out for a corner, after defender puts the rebound out, ball comes in and is an own goal
HITS the post goes for goal kick etc etc.

Life = you are born you die a straight line .. ahh but I have had 2 divorces and a relationship .... so it is not .. but it is, it happened between point of birth and point of death....

actually it was only 2 and a relationship ... first one was due to the redundancy, and the fact we lived under each others feet for almost a year ... and agreed we would go our separate ways .. second one was a money grabber who thought I was loaded ( redundancy money ) great for a year , 12 years younger ! went back to mummy when I said I had no money ..I still had about £6k .. relationship was mutual thing, lasted a few years and we moved on, still stayed friends for a few years then lost touch ... married now 34 years! ....
