Will be good to cross swords with you guys again. Despite it being a horrible day for us, I think a bond between our clubs was formed that day at Wembley.

For those of you who come tonight the ground will be very different as the new (11,000 seat) Lansdown Stand is open this season

I'm expecting us to rest one or two tonight - do you think you will?

Our rather disastrous recent league form might well lead to a few more first-teamers getting a run-out, though there's still likely to be changes.

Depends. He really needs to play a 3-5-2 with Hernandez and Diomande heading it, as it's looked like the only formation that fit our current personnel, however, due to our squad being so thin, he may not dare risk many of the first team players. One thing's for sure, if he again goes with a 4-5-1 formation with Will Keane heading it then you'll probably win.

If you don't win tonight then, if Phelan remains in charge, you'll probably get another couple of chances next season.

I think we'll get a good result tonight, looking forward to this game, I'd like our mini cup run to continue as we've always lost in the first round of this cup the last few years to teams in bloody League 2 <laugh>

5 3 2 is probably the way to go tonight.

Don't think I'd play Dawson, too much too soon. I'd like to see Weir involved, not sure whether at LWB or CM. I haven't dislike Keane so far, nobody would have a great game up front on there own in our team at the minute. I'd like to see him with a partner.

    Either:

    Jak
    Elmo Maguire Livermore Davies Weir
    Henriksen Huddleston Mason
    Hernandez Keane

    OR

    Jak
    Elmo Maguire Livermore Davies Tymon
    Henriksen Mason Weir
    Hernandez Keane

I just hope we start where we left off in the last 20 minutes against Stoke, when for the first time since the Man U. game we looked like a real team that cared. In that period, with Hernandez and Diomande up front, and the mid-field pushing up into Stokes half, we dominated possession 70-30, had one goal marginally disallowed, and could have scored 2-3 goals.

In addition to 2 up (really up) we need to bring Jak back in in goal. He gives the team confidence and is far more agile than the slow footed Marshall. Livermore should be back at CH with Davies and I hope (for the first half at least) Dawson, and 5 in MF ...Elmo, Mason, Hudd, Clucas, Henriksen. We'll miss Snodds but Henriksen should be fit and ready.

We have nothing to lose by pressing them from the opening whistle...play the game in their half...and ATTACK!! If Phelan starts Keane as the lonely striker, and uses the same defeatist defensive tactics he's used since the Liverpool game we'll lose...and I'll lose my little remaining faith that he knows what he's doing.

This could be a turning point in the season. An impressive win today, and points at Watford on Saturday, should restore some confidence that we can avoid relegation. Another lacklustre losing display and we are going to be every opposing teams favourite 3-pointer!!!!

Surprised they're not starting Abraham. Is he injured? Wilbraham should be no problem.
