Can't wait to see the highlights. Nice to see some on here confess to being too quick to judge Puel. I really feel that we are a better team this year with the 2nd string slotting in to the system really well. If Puel can avoid a Xmas wobble then who knows what we might achieve?

My stream was out of sync with the radio, so I had endure the City v 'those other guys' commentary. Are City that widely enough supported to remotely justify it, I'm sure most viewers would want them to lose? I suppose most commentators think it's only interesting to frame the match in the narrative of City must win the for title race. Funny, there's no mention of the all important '3 points' in the current Chelsea v United match on TV; they're just concentrating on the actual sporting contest they're watching.

I know we can all be a bit sensitive and get twitchy about Saints being ignored, but in a bit about the game on Sky, apart from a short bit from Puel it was all about City...they had 2 interview sections with Guardiola, one with their goal scorer, a section where Henry discussed...yes, you've guessed it....where City went wrong, a talk about where that left City in the league, and stats about City.
It's annoying but we know how good we are and if they want to keep undermining us whilst we keep getting results then so be it.
Under the radar is the best way for us to be, we were the same last year and had our best league performance in 30 odd years.
It's a problem I find with managers coming to City,it takes an age for them to realise that it's such a hard league where if you don't work hard enough or are complacent you will be punished. We were out worked in midfield by the excellent Davies Clasie & Romeu and Van Dijk & Fonte showed us how to defend Fraser Forster could've sat in a deckchair for all he's had to do I'm glad Shane Long wasn't playing because I think he'd have run us ragged at the back,he's a bloody nuisance You must be optimistic that top 4 is a possibility so long as the europa doesn't eventually take its toll.

We all can see that we are bloody brilliant, even if the pundits ignore us. The first few games I wondered what Puel had been smoking. But my God, I don't know what he's doing in training but we have been fantastic. Every player has improved. The technical ability and discipline is a joy to watch. I wonder if he gets the players pinging 70-yard switches to each other over and over again? Long may it continue. Up the saints.

They need to be reigned in. City are not United, they don't have a massive national/global fanbase, but Sky seem to have bestowed upon them a similar status. You would think it was in Sky's interest not to treat the non big team as 'the opposition,' and promote the reality of their product's overall competition. Thus (almost 'allow') their viewers to be interested in more games, teams and players; whole package, rather than the glamour clubs and fixtures,

whatever reservations some people had about Claude on his appointment he certainly seems to improved team discipline and moral from where rk left it
