Mata on for Fellaini at HT. Much more positive sub from you, I just don't understand the logic of having Pogba in the attacking mid position, he doesn't make enough runs into the box, I don't think he's got the short passing to play the role and I don't think he's at his best with back to goal.
As said, BBC Salford were reporting Uniturd 'Joint top' after three games - even though they were third on GD.

I said on Monday that Uniturd would have beat us if they'd had Mata in that position instead of Pogba. All joking aside about Pogba's worth and form, Mata knows this league and is a cut above. Just don't understand how Monghino and LVG didn't rate him.
I posted earlier on the United board I just don't get, given the choice of Mata against Liverpool on Monday and Chelsea on Sunday, OR having a stormer against Fenerbache in the Europy, why it's such a no-brainer and we do the exact opposite! We should be playing our best 11 in the prem. Pogba has never played as an attacking midfielder for Juve or France has he? He's a box to box midfielder but I think he'll struggle with Fellaini behind him. He needs to play next to Herrera with Mata in front.
Yup. Its a really weird one because he can't play the holding role or the attacking midfield role in a 4-2-3-1 which essentially makes him an odd signing for Mourinho, as he doesn't fit his preferred system at all.
He can play the holding role, it's just not the best use of his talent
Like you say though, his best position doesn't feature in Mourinho's preferred formation. He played on the left hand side of a diamond at Juve.
