Did he come to us with an undisclosed injury, is that the same reason he didn't travel with Armenia?
Is he unfit or did he get put in the bad boys corner after a poor show against City?

I can only hope he lives up to expectations once he is deemed fit/good enough to play.

He started really slowly at Dortmund too so maybe he's just the type of player that takes time to get used to his surroundings. Problem is he still got a good amount of minutes at Dortmund to get used to the league and adapt to the team, Mourinho isn't the type of manager who likes his players learning and making mistakes along the way, he prefers seasoned professionals who you can rely on to perform week in week out.

Yep, but basically he has had no time, a few 15 min cameos and one start (where he was poor). I think there may be a deeper issue with this, maybe lack of fitness like with Shaw when he first arrived (and now since his injury).

I think he's not adjusted to the new surrounds yet. He is of a type and it seems mourinho isn't using this type anyway even if he was right to play.

Don't think too many attacks come close to that in league (on paper), 3 at the back with Kompany in there I think suits the squad City have quite well, but it's always one of them novelty formations which comes undone further down the line. Should be a good couple of games today, always nice winning on the Saturday and watching your rivals play on the Sunday. No matter what happens with yesterdays results it's been a very good weekend for us with one of Chelsea and United guaranteed to drop points.

 

Your spine is good but if they're playing how #bbcsalford sets them up then Southampton could get a result

Southampton have enough quality to score against any team, not sure they have enough to outscore city though.
