I feel the same as everyone else, disappointment with just about everything that is or isn't happening on and off the pitch.

We had this a bit back with Steve Bruce and this forum bought and had displayed a banner.

Maybe it's time to show the squad that we are behind them, **** anyone else, the core of this squad has been on the same roller coaster as us and maybe it's time for us, the supporters to do something about it.

I believe we need to show the team we are behind them as players.

Count me in if you fancy doing a PHELAN OUT banner.

I genuinely don't blame the players for this current run, and yes I would always get behind them.

Playing someone who isn't a striker, as a striker, on his own, and leaving a striker who is a striker on the bench? GTF.

We concentrated on Bruce, this time, I think it should just be the players.

Just tweet them and tell them you love them, it will make up for the knobheads who tweet to tell them they're ****e.

If another banner is to be made, someone needs to check with the club to make sure it will fit in the same cupboard they're hiding the others in...

There is no doubt yesterday players were not comfortable with the formation played. Phelan in my view made several mistakes with the starting set up.

1, Keane shouldn't have been up top.
    2. Hernandez should have started.
    3. Snodders starting on the left doesn't work.
    4. Meyler on the right doesn't work.
    5. Elmo at full back for the most part doesn't work.
    6. Clucas is wasted at left back.
    7. We should have started 352 with Abel and Dio up top.
    8. It took him until 70 minutes to change it to 352 when we looked better balanced, and finally looked threatening.

I agree we have to get behind the players, and what you saw yesterday was a team not happy with the formation they were playing in.

I have felt bad about staying away and not being there to support. But I still won't go until the Allams have gone and judging by the attendance at least I'm not the only one.

I don't think a banner in the stadium is what is needed, I think it has to be a campaign, using social media. It has to be different.

I agree with a show of support. The way as a fanbase we've shown such little support lately is embarrassing.

However I think the attitude is wrong already. Last time it was yes we've been **** but moaning won't help so let's just show that we're behind them. Bruce mentioned that banner a few times so he obviously liked it. It looked brilliant on us as fans too. This time it seems like people are still so moody about yesterday that they're already talking about excluding Phelan from any show of support. That isn't going to get us anywhere.

Whether it's a banner or whatever, I'm well behind it if we're going to come together to do something showing the players and staff that we understand they're in an impossible situation and that we're behind them. Sadly I don't see that many do understand going by the posts on here.

You might think the attitude is wrong mate but after the last two no shows I am seriously thinking Phelan is not the man to lead us anywhere but down. I haven't got a problem with that per se but FFS let's at least go down fighting. The last two performances have been absolute ****e. And I stood at the end last week clapping the teams 'efforts'. Will I be stood clapping at the end on Tuesday is what I am currently pondering.

We were **** when we had that 5 game losing streak under Bruce which led to the banner. What's different now? If anything we should he much more sympathetic this time after Bruce had spent so much money that season brought in Ben Area, Hernandez etc and we've signed James Weir and Will Keane. Have some perspective ffs.

I've got plenty of perspective mate. I listen to our current head coach and I think he's not the man. I hope I'm wrong. Why would he hang that poor lad Keane out to dry?

Since Phelen signed his contract we have been ****. Yesterday was embarrassing Stoke where all over us and they where nothing special. Totally wrong tactics and formation and we didn't turn up until the last 20 minutes when Abel and Dio came on and we went 3-5-2. If we had played that from the start we would of probably won the match.

Let's be honest, Phelan got this job on 2 results when the team had to pick itself!! He seems a top bloke but he shouldn't have got the job, simple!!! Browny did exactly the same with this non striker up front rubbish when he kept playing Garcia on his own week after week!!! Same results!

I don't really think supporters have that much of an effect on results. Other factors, like wages and whether players are happy are not, the tactics used, are bigger. Supporters pay their money and they obviously want to be entertained.

Fact is that the players stated after last Saturday that they owed the supporters after that display at Bournemouth. Looking at the attitude of most of them they couldn't have given a monkies. That was a truely shocking first half and I looked at the players and thought they couldn't careless. Their body language said as much. I don't know what is going on behind the scenes but it appeared to me that Snodgrass was being shafted yesterday and no one wanted to pass the ball to him. Has there been a massive fall out after Bournemouth. Also, to a man, these same players all wanted MP to be given the job. Now he has it they are sh.tting on him from a great height. They are being very well paid for what they are supposed to be doing and it is their duty to show desire and correct attitude. How many goals have we given away because defenders and midfield players have allowed barn door space for opponents to score. Yesterdays first goal was a point in question. The whole club is in total disarray at the moment and in fact it has been since SB walked out of the door because of young allam. The pre season build up was non existant and a total and utter shambles. The transfer deadline was again just a rush to get some players in. Why was it all last minute again? The managers situation hasn't helped. Phelan was given the job as a total afterthought because no one else wanted it. Football has seen what has been going on at this club over the last few months and the net result is no one of any credence wanted the job. Its not suprising after the way SB and Bertschin were treated. The club is now a pariah and things wont change until these owners are out of the door. They may have rescued the club but over the last couple of seasons since being refused the name change they have treated supporters appallingly and continue to do so. They will continue to dismantle this club until there is nothing left. I said many months ago on here that many long term supporters walked out of the club two years ago. I stated that we could lose over 5000 supporters who had been loyal to the club. Well it is more than that, I actually under estimated it. They put the gate down yesterday as over 18500. The truth is it looked pretty much lower at around 15-16000. They lied last season about gate figures stating that they were at around the 17000 on average yet in the accounts it was 15000 odd. This is now telling everyone what their legacy is all about. They should take note that if this carries on for much longer the gate figure for a Premier league club will become a huge embarrassment to the club and to them, It will tell its own story. Do they care you may ask. Personally I don't think they could care less about anything these days just as long as they piss off as many fans as they can.
