The fact us is we want to develop this guy karius he does need to play but he doesnt need to be found out badly.

He has got away with shot 3 games running.. and really through some luck.

I think he needs to come out now and head into training for a couple of months with a view to getting his angles right. He just doesnt look like he can even see the flight of the ball right now.

Mingolet can play just fine and needs to also prove hes up for the fight.

 

That's on the moon isn't it? 4 billion years old - how much longer does it need?

 

If Klopp does want to protect him then the cup game is a good excuse to get Mignolet back in. But the next 9 league games are all #nailedon wins anyway so might as well train Karius up.

Migs doesn't like venturing past the 6 yard line. He's a good, perhaps great shot stopper. Klopp wants a keeper who's on his toes and prepared to sweep.

Whether that's Karius for the long term, who knows. I loved the way Pep batted off criticism of his keeper the other day. I'll back Klopp's judgement.....if he's not good enough, he'll see it. Can't see Migs being here next season though.

God no! but can you honestly deny the guy can at least punch then the ball in in his area.

Karius literally cannot get the flight of the ball right now. He's missed nearly every cross bar one complete dolly today I'd catch... and I mean completely missing them.

 

Sorry but this is a massive over-exaggeration to try to prove a point.
Let me get this straight, I want to be proved wrong - it's more important to me that the team do well than me being able to say "told you so", so I'm on a hiding to nothing.
However, up to now, Karius has shown no improvement on Mignolet in any area that actually matters.
I'm not alone in this opinion, btw - not that it would change my mind even if I was. I go by what I can see - and it's patently obvious.

 

And watching MoTD I have to say Palace and Benteke will have fun against him next week too.

Look I know mingolet would struggle v palace with benteke.... but this kid.. well I hope we have 70% possession or he's in trouble.
