I was more than usually inebriated but did Clucas really do that much to be nominated? Really? I thought the only ones to make a difference were Hernandez Diomande The whole midfield could have come off at any time.
Clucas Dawson Abel H Elmo is really looking **** again, Snodge was way off today, Keane looked good early on, but he was too isolated. Meyler & Hudds were invisible for most of the game, Jake ran round a lot with little end product & Mason, well I hope the 12 million is in add ons!
Clucas Dawson Abel Special mention to Elmo & Myler for turning up and doing **** all for their £40k this week !!!
Just got in from a night on the town, feel like I'm pissed enough to finally address this **** show, the team laid down like a pig waiting for slaughter. Clucas looked tidy so is MOTM, Abel and Dio were a handful and as soon as abel came on you could see his quality through how he found space and caused problems even without the ball. Will Keane is Bambi on ice, would gladly see him never return to the first team, 18 million for Marshall and Mason just let that sink in... Phelan came across tremendously petulant in his post match interview, you'd have thought speaking to the BBC on behalf of fergie would have granted him a bit more savvy in an interview but after listening to him defend that shower of ****e and claiming Keane played well at Bournemouth and justified a selection today I've lost every shred of faith in him. To summarise, this performance has upset/pissed me off the most, after playing strong teams and what could maybe be passed off as a freak result against Bournemouth you'd have expect for Mike to rally the boys and try and find that fight we had at the start of the season, we expected to see our team fight today, we expected that after Bournemouth to see them play for the badge and give their all for the fans. Instead we got a gutless lack luster performance, every man looked defeated from the kick off and Stoke never even got out of second gear and certainly didn't look like conceding. Ehab has run this club into the ground and I'm sure the attendance was fabricated, new owners and a new positive outlook needed ASAP and players in this team who think they can have the audacity to suggest they wouldn't play in the championship even if we went down need to pull their head out of their arse and realise they aren't good enough. Today was a dark day to be a Hull City fan and for the first time in my life I felt completely disconnected from the team, which is a huge contrast from the summer and the play off final and I think that on the whole shows as the team itself is disconnected from the passion of the city and it's supporters. I'm done rambling now it's time for bed. Sorry to bore you all.
Clucas The remainder of the starting 11 were a disgrace. The next best 2 players only played 20 minutes each. Diomande Hernandez If you need help identifying players and a formation capable of starting a PL game Phelan - let me know. I'll sit on the bench for free and put a better starting 11 on the pitch than you did today. I love my club and that today was an embarrassment and an absolute disgrace. I hope they are all pulled in for extra training today.
Clucas Dawson Dio I thought Mason was the only one trying to create anything in the first half, uncharacteristicly poor from Snodgrass.
The need for change was clear well before half time. Why is it that Phelan ( and Bruce before him) leaves substitutions until it's too late?
Is there a clip of the Burnsy post match interview anywhere? It sounds like it was the highlight of yesterday.
He commentates for Radio Humberside which is part of BBC so suggest you look there,if you can be bothered.
Clucas Dawson Mason As you can tell I'm trying hard not to include subs who only played 20 minutes or so. Diomande and Hernandez looked much better when they came on and will surely start next game.
HDM ratings... Hernandez- 7 (MotM) Dawson, Clucas, Marshall - 6 Davies, Maguire - 5 Everyone else - 4
