if it's sunny tomorrow they'll add £8m to the price, but £3m will get wiped off if Ehaw spills his breakfast milk It'll sort itself out to whatever the right level is Hopefully the defeat will encourage them to get out quicker. If it does then it was worth it
Today's defeat against Stoke had no sign of tactics or strategy. The players just played like headless chickens. The team selection was awful and there is no sign of influence or imagination from Phelan. He has to go asap.
Do people still think that the owners are capable of replacing him with someone better? Haven't they already tried that? I've asked this a few times now and I don't see why anything would have changed. Should never have treated Brucie the way they did.
It's not always about tactics and formations. They were just miles better than us today from the first 5 minutes. The club is a shambles and we have to accept that it's now affected the team. We can't expect to beat anyone with no players and no staff.
Phelan's £1.5m contract will have a get out clause. After another six games the club may well activate it. I hope it doesn't come to that but it's not looking great at the moment. Attack is the best form of defense. A pity some managers don't realise that until it's too late.
Yeah, it unfortunately appears that Mr. Phelan is a bit of an idiot. I will own up to the fact that I hoped he'd be better after the first three games, however, as others have mentioned, he appears to have completely ballsed up the team spirit and any initial fluidity that we had by insisting on dropping the likes of Jak for a keeper that certainly hasn't improved our fortunes, and Abel for a forward that couldn't even score in the Championship. As for the £13M spent on Mason, a) it looks like Levy has had our pants down again, and b) the money would have been wisely spent in other ares of the pitch were we were paper thin, not central midfield, it currently looks like Phelan is anything but wise!
Go on then Patty, I'll humour you, tell me what good/positive signs you've seen from Mike Phelan's management after we played our first three games?
I actually like Mason, he might not be worth the £12.5m we paid, but I think he's a very handy player.
we beat the PL champions didnt we? facing Bristol City in League cup should get us back to winning ways.
