Where will we finish ?

Exciting season lies ahead for QPR and I predict a top 8 finish. The surprise team of the premiership this season !! What are your predictions ?

 

A 100% fully committed effort from the players and manager that, whilst noble, will ultimately be futile. The board who failed to back our manager during the summer will wait for the inevitable 4 or 5 game losing streak that every promoted team endures and seize the opportunity to sack Warnock and appoint some Italian/Continental "Coach".

Consequently, as a result of Flabio's gross incompetence, our valiant side will return to the Championship but will fight tooth and nail all the way.

Hard to argue with that, our pre-season has been ridiculous.

 

Never judge an upcoming season by pre season results ! Different match mentality entirely !

 

I think he meant lack of transfers etc Micnorwil but I agree, friendlies mean absolutely nowte.

Top 8 is unlikely in my opinion.

I would probably say somewhere between 12th - 19th as a neutral

I didn't want to say that in fear of causing offence, but there are teams like Villa, Sunderland and Newcastle that can't even get into the top 8. I would say even for Fulham a top 8 finish this season is unlikely

 

Pre-season or not, we've already seen how easily the wheels come off (vis strong first half team with non-league Luton all over us). Those of us without rose tinted's will be expecting more of the same from serious opposition. Very worrying if we hadn't been witness to the crap going on all summer; peanuts and monkeys; poor planning, piss poor performance and all that.

We weren't moaning without good reason. Resigned to a struggle for survival at best.

Football's like religion though innit? Doubt unreasonably calls devotion into question. Weird.

 

With the defensive players we have at our disposal currently, bottom two for me, sorry!

 

Steady on boys;some people aren't aware that cynicism is de rigueur here. Besides the hunting season doesn't begin until September 1st.

14th-16th. Strong pre christmas, struggling post christmas (no investment in january because of mid table position going into january).

8th but swords makes good point re the manager ... its a house of cards if he goes .. if he doesn't you know i stand by 8th. If NW stays our spirit will grow... we are used to winning

 

That was last season. I hope to God it continues, but it is going to be so much harder this season.
