I'm glad it was. Someone could have got badly injured and the ball was barely moving. Someone could have drowned! Decent workout for 64 minutes though. It's Fiorentina's 15 fans I feel for. Hopefully they live here and don't have far to travel.

There's a video on the mag board and the pitch was hopeless, absolutely waterlogged from the off. Pity as Fiorentina are good oppo for a pre-season, the sort we should be up against IMO.
