I wouldn't exactly say I'm living in the past, seeing as Saints are off to the San Siro now on Thursday having finished 6th in the league only a couple of months ago. Who have the mighty Liverpool got in Europe then ?

Saints are 8th in the league currently. Does that number remind you of the 'achievements' of a certain squad worth hundreds of millions of pounds in the not so distant past ?

Outside of Spurs fans (understandably), the vast majority of other club fans would have loved to have had Wenger managing their team, bringing the incredible success he has had in terms of trophies and titles and playing a brand of football that has been wonderfully entertaining...

Was a good thread this, until it got derailed by the usual bollox. (see post above for details).

My view from what I've seen so far is that Liverpool look best going forward and if they can get someone in at full back in January could well go on to win it. I see Arsenal coming second, they are running into some good form now, which should last to Feb on past experience. City 3rd and us 4th. Chelsea and Utd 5/6th if they can develop a settled way of playing. They are both likely to be better next year.
