You missed the part where Tony Pulis became their manager.

 

Tony Pulis looks like Johan Cruyff compared to last manager we just faced.

 

There will be games where we are frustrated by the opposition, at times need to accept a point and move on other than get so frustrated we concede.

Early goal would be nice here.

 

If we don't get a early goal I think we'll struggle here. Reason being, it's been a while since our last win and confidence isn't as high as it was a couple of weeks ago.

If we bag early we could win comfortably though.

 

West Brom also have taller players, they are going to make it a physical battle. It's the type of game we have to win if we are going anywhere.

 

Imo it wont matter if we do get an early goal.

Remember the 2-2. We got a goal. They had 30% possession. Got a corner. Goal.. next thing we are rocking and cough up a glorious chance and then they do get the lead and we scraped a draw.

We need to be 50% better than v utd and run them off the park.

The game cannot be controlled or over after 30mins. This one will go to the death... sinply cos any delivery of any quality in our box = a chance.

Agaij not a game for karius. Hes gotten very very lucky v utd. This lot will target him hugely.

Will also be looking at clyne in the air and the inability of milner to get his body shape right when a winger is running at him.

If i were pulis id be looking forward to this one.

 

It is strange that we have to face Crystal Palace after them.

Because they are both physical . And we have Benteke with Palace who would like to proof a point.

 

That was pushing it though. Origi pretty much scored in extra added added time. Pulis will do the usual, he frustrated Spurs last weekend and he will frustrate us this weekend, then City will make it look easy and slice through them the week after and then they will get beaten by Burnley because when Pulis plays other **** teams his tactics are useless.

 

yes I totally agree. pulis targets 45 points and thats it so if he takes 3 off us his job is done for the month

Agree, early goal is key, we get that, they may have to change their game plan, if not, they'll sit and and defend, defend and defend and then try to hit us on the counter..
For me if, Gini and Lallana (who should be) are fit), they come back in for Can and Studge..
The key to winning this game will be the late runs, hopefully not tracked well, by the likes of Gini and Lallana..

they just play for set piece then try to score off it. they can go that at 0-0, 0-1 or 0-2.

theres always a chance for them

they will not come out and make space ofr us at 0-1 after 10 mins.

We need to control more of the ball and we need to not give them easy set piece.. in short if they counter ****ing well foul them on half way and get a card. don't let them get good set piece positions!

Its really a simple game plan, foul early, don't let them get going. keep possession of the ball and don't turn it over easy in mdifield.
