You know what. No it's not. He took the risk. He decided to go there for the greater glory and the greater money. You made your bed Morgan, and you weren't good enough. Sorry mate. What would be sad to see is others not taking note.
I do generally agree it's just a bit of a shame as he was one of my favourite players for years and really thought he was destined for the top.

Saints seem to be able to get the best out of players - if you went back 3 years you wouldn't expect Long, Austin and Redmond to be our front line and playing so well. Chambers is now a regular for Boro, Puncheon for palace. It seems certain players fit certain clubs. Maybe we'll see Morgan back or at a different club soon
We've moved on, so any of our previous players will have to have improved before we would consider them.
I'd just rather some people in a hurry would take note. I get that to be an elite sportsman you need to believe you are the best, and can cope with whatever. But sometimes, with a little humility and self-awareness, might come great success.
Im so glad that i was at St Marys yesterday, rather than Anfield tonight - what a dire match that was.
Hope you're all looking forwards to half an hour highlights and another half of critical analysis not on MOTD2? (Followed by 4.7 seconds on the Southampton and Boro games combined).
Radar...under the radar, that is how we do it every year. They just don't get it these 'pundits'. "How do Southampton do it year after year?". We keep under the radar...
It takes them til about half way through the season before they stop saying "they can't keep selling their best players", move on to "how do they do it?" for about 2 games before predicting who will be sold on in the summer. Those players will be sold rinse and repeat until eventually we do have a poor summer recruiting and have a poor season in the league when they will all gleefully say "well we all knew that you can't sell your best players every year" despite us doing it for about 5 years previously and it being fine.
We *might* still conceivably have what is considered a 'poor season' this season. None of us should count chickens at this stage, though the signs right now are very encouraging. Again.
