Most of them are wools who've never been anywhere near Castle Greyskull, and yet are 'die hard' Kopites
AAWWWWWWW He must be secretly hoping for a defeat against one of his other favourite teams tomorrow he's due a holiday? A not606 holiday that is
My stream went just before you scored, it came back on after City missed a penalty and just in time for their goal. #jinx #sorry
I'm not sure why any reds wouldn't want Everton to have a stadium on the docks. I've always said we got our choice, let them have theirs. Had Bill been a bit more 'adventurous' they'd already be on the King's Dock, that was a real missed opportunity.
I don't mind what they do. It would be nice if they'd do something positive on the woodison site once the knock it down.
something for the community yes. Anything bar turn it into an everton FC museum or something that nobody would ever go to.
They built houses and a school on the old Maine Road site. Brighton's old Goldstone ground is a retail park. Roker Park is a housing development. Bit of a shame to wipe old grounds out completely but at least the local community gets the benefits.
Woodson.... Are you seven, in fact..... I would like to see something on the site. Sure a deal will be made on the site with the council.
Yep, that's similar to what I said earlier in the thread, as long as the locals get a better standard of living and better amenities its a price worth paying for the upheaval of the poor homeowners and tennant's that were in some cases forced to take a fraction of what their homes were worth to them personally. And yeah i know its ok for me because I wasn't affected. Let's not forget a lot of the properties in the streets surrounding Anfield that were demolished were derelict and vandalised, a lot had been turned into bedsits etc. If we'd have taken the new build option we'd have taken away the biggest green space in the area and a place were people go with their kids, local football leagues pitches etc. Gotta say though it must ****ing diabolical to lose your home in the place you were born and bred and its understandable that there was a lot of anger about it from those affected.
hook... line.... sinker... If everton have no project like housing in the site then I think the council really should try to deliver something genuine on the site.
