Ye i heard that. Whcih is nice for him. Also said he won a lot of balls... I'l be honest i dont think i saw him.
Let me get this straight, he picked him not based on his ability as a footballer but to cheer him up? That there is a massive ****ing error on the part of an inexperienced manager.
Can't help but think that 6-1 to (a good) Bournemouth side is a watershed moment in our entire season.. We'll either sink or swim from here on in..Time for Phebes to earn his dough.
Just hoping we have some sort of response next Saturday. Those that travelled today deserve that the very least.
Will has shown a great attitude. "He put in a shift. He moved around and on the whole, Will put extreme effort into the game. "He’s been travelling. I just wanted to make Will Keane felt part of something. "I don’t think that was the downfall of the team.
Even if that's why you did it you don't go and say that to the press. You just say Hernandez wasn't sharp following travelling and Mbokani is injured. Simple. Managers need to lie, I think that comment shows he has a lot to learn in the role.
The chances of that are not very high. He made a monumental cock up today. He's dropped his only chance of scoring goals. Something has happened with him and Abel. He doesnt know how to handle players and picked a yes sir no sir three bags full Will Keane cos he likes him. Horrendous decision. Maloney stuck out wide is a disaster. He's going to have to make a lot of changes for the next match now which brings further disruption. Jake should have been moved back weeks ago to get up to speed. Dawson will be back and Harry will be dropped again!! Clucas will probably have to go to LB. Disaster
Won't disagree with much of that, but it is surprising how three points vs Stoke could change the picture. There's still time to right the wrong and get our season back on track. Don't write off HCAFC just yet.
Calm down and put the kettle on be The away support in particularly deserved ****ing better than that joke performance. Robertson was carrying a knock from the Scotland game so no surprise he finally broke down. And Snodgrass clearly hadn't recovered from the Scotland results because his body language was poor.
Sorry mate but its not this game. Its been obvious Phelan is out of his depth in the other games. Asking Dawson to help out with the team. GTF
I didnt think we had any chance of winning today but I wasnt expecting a 6-1 defeat. Phelan was a poor choice for manager and if he stays in we are going down although I suspect we are going down no matter what.
I hope you are correct and my comments are proven to be wrong. And yes a long way to go before the points are tallied up at the end of the season, but, its not l looking good. When I saw the team sheet to me it did not bode well for the outcome. Keane for Hernandez, your top scorer last season for someone who has a poor record playing for a championship team. Maloney? I feel like I did in the late seventies after the run that we had had for many years with Waggy etc, and then Terry Neal that it was all going tits up and that we were falling off the map, which we duly did to be in the wilderness for many years. We don't know how lucky we were with Steve Bruce. Ehab and all those that wanted him gone are going to rue the day. For the rest of us its adds up to be (well it should be) a minor depressant, for Ehab its going to hit him hard in the pocket since the team is not going to be worth a few quid never mind a 100 million.
