That's why that'll probably take the Croxteth/Gillmoss option, wouldn't be easy to build a stadium that blends in with structures from the Napoleonic era.

He's obviously unaware that the docks stadium is in its 16th year of planning, almost as long as their last trophy

He was never owner, however if you class him as our previous owner.....we can look at the foundations of new Anfield as a reminder of G&H

One solitary spade hole in Stanley Park is all that's left to remind us of those two.

And ten years of trying/planning to build new on Stanley park.

Let's also gloss over the forced purchase threats and running the area down to try to force people away from their homes.

My mistake. I forgot his bid was brushed aside when he tried years ago nevertheless you talking about 'feet dragging' as being our problem and not yours made me laugh.

None of us has ever glossed over that in fact we've raised it many times on here - a couple of months ago was the last time I remember when the new stand thread went up <ok>

The fans would never go for new build which may also be a contributing factor as to why it's never happened, #fanpower

10 years to not get a new stadium for a club as cash rich as Liverpool is just as bad.

The new guy comes in and drags his feet and then puts further expansion on hold.

The new guy at Goodison isn't throwing his cash about yet, but with Big Joe and the Commonwealth games the dock site looks promising

It never happened because the first was pie in the sky and the new guys benefitted from the social cleaning by former club custodians, allowing them to placate fans.

LFC have been buying up homes around the ground for decades, of course its terrible to have to move from your home, also if you don't get what you consider to be a fair price.
LCC were the ones to hand out CPO's for what they deemed as "for the greater good of the area as a whole"
I suppose you'll shed bucket loads of tears for any homes and/or businesses lost to make way for EFC's new stadium?

And for the loss to Liverpool and the UK from us losing a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the sake of a small club

    CPO's.

A bit like planning permission for a listed site. Sure either club won't have any leverage with LCC.

There's a lot more than CPO's required to build on a heritage site, if in doubt check out the battle of the Futurist picture house on Lime Street, only the facade was listed but it took years to go through the courts before it was given the go ahead to bring it down.
