Story of our season thus far. Every single game, bar none, we've been absolutely ****ing mullered for 90 minutes, looked a completely disorganised mess defensively and ridden our luck with opponents squandering chance after chance, sitters and all. Granted we are better at moving and using the ball but the trade off against just how utterly pathetic our 'defence' has become is not worth it. This much was clearly evident after 3 games, and that is excluding the crazy, nonsensical bodge job line ups, yet still people are blowing the phelan trumpet. Those two lucky lucky results at the beginning of the season unfortunately look like sealing our fate for the rest of it. Phelan should never have been given the job.
Give it a ****ing rest. This team is more than good enough to at least compete. We're not. We've barely turned up. Again. It's down to Phelan.
So why did we waste precious time negotiating with his agent agreeing terms talking to the player and paying a million wasnt it? . Phelan wanted him and got him. When a RB was needed. FACT
Then we did we squander a million quid on him when there were places the first team was in dire need of reinforcing.
So we all know Elmo is struggling with IBE yet he's left on his own against him. Double up on him FFS
The **** didn't make it easy, but once Feelin got the green light he should have had targets lined up. Chris Gunter was a name that was mentioned.
