My daughter's socks are constantly coming off, she's just in these past few days figured out how to crawl and unless you put them back on every five minutes she's barefoot. I love seeing her growing up and learning new things but I can see that crawling is going to be demanding for us. She's already obsessed with crawling over to the router and trying to eat it, I think the blue lights fascinate her and apparently look tasty.
My daughter's 14 mate...And just like her two older brothers she is always leaving her clothes lying all over the place..
I didn't think she was a baby but I was just looking for an excuse to talk about mine haha. Of all the things I can see myself getting annoyed about in the future I don't think untidiness will be at the top of the list, it'd be a bit hypocritical haha.
I wish untidyness was the worst of my worries of having a teenage daughter? She can be a bloody nightmare at times...I love her to bits though..
I can't picture this lovely little baby that grins at me and laughs when I pull faces being difficult in the future but I know it'll happen. I hope she takes after her mum and not me or she'll be smoking in eleven short years and drinking not long after. It was alright when I did it but she's not allowed.
Another crap night, seem to be waking up at stupid fukcin o'clock every night now and not being able to get back off, doing my head in.
My mam hardly ever sleeps, a good night for her is between an hour and 2. Don't know how other people cope if happens on a daily basis, it would do my head in i think. Last night i woke at 1.30 so went down and had a brew then back up to bed at 4.30, think i managed another half hour before i had to get up for work. Might have to go out and get a part time job or something if it carries on much longer.
i didn't or don't know what to do, i get up n read or cruise the net and while im downstairs just make a brew. my old dear is on massive pain killers for her bad legs and that's what keeps her awake so suppose i am lucky in that sense. Roll on tomorrow night, got a massive golf day and there is gonna be ****e loads of drink so fingers crossed that might send me off. Hope so, as don't want to be awake as my drunken stupor wears off and my hangover grows lol.
There's quite a few guys on here have real problems sleeping Crumble. My problem isn't anywhere near as some of the guys on here. I think Bri and 83 have it as bad as any I've heard on here. The only advice I can offer is don't eat late, go to bed early and when you wake up during the night, don't fight it or toss and turn. Get up, make yourself a soft drink, no caffeine, don't put the TV or laptop on and after about 15-20 minutes just go back to bed like you're going to bed for the first time. Works for me. Most of the time.
I've had insomnia for about 25 years. Only thing that gets me off is alcohol. I've seen me go three days without any sleep at all.
The mind keeps you awake mate, unless you fall into a deep sleep you're just getting poor quality sleep. The best way to get quality sleep is to tire the body and the mind will follow. There are a lot of people out there who suffer from sleep disorders, I don't profess to have an answer for everybody, only what works for me. There's millions of supplements from melatonin to magnesium to alcohol to painkillers and Valium to get you off, but unless your body needs to sleep it will fight to stay awake, as you are carrying surplus calories (energy).
